Abstract
This study aims to identify urban empowerment groups farming in Gending Village, Gresik Regency, analyzing the influence of social capital towards empowering urban farming communities. Analyzing the effect of capital social security on food security in Gending Village, Gresik Regency. Analyzing the influence of urban farming empowerment on food security in Indonesia Gending Village, Gresik Regency. And analyze the influence of urban farming in order to improve urban food security in Gending Village, Gresik Regency from the farm side. The results of the study show that there is an influence of social capital towards empowering urban farming communities and food security, as well as there is an effect of empowering the urban farming community on resilience food where the T-Statistic value is > 1.96. From the farm side, the R/C ratio value > 1, meaning that farming carried out in the urban farming community is feasible.
