Abstract

Wonosalam District is productive land for the cultivation of ricefield crops and plantations that have been intensively cultivated. In addition, this area also has forest and moorland areas. Phosphorus nutrients are immobile in the soil and will undergo a process of changing forms including ineralization from microorganism activity and fixation from Al and Fe. Phosphorus nutrient availability can also be influenced by land activities and human activities. Based on the description above, it is necessary to assess phosphorus nutrients in various types of land use and slope. Therefore, detailed information on phosphorus and its fixation sources is necessary to obtain optimal management. This research was conducted using field survey method by taking soil samples at sampling points and soil test method. The chemical properties determined were texture, pH, C-organic, P-available, Al-P and Fe-P. The research data were presented in the form of tables and graphs and explained descriptively by describing the data that had been collected. The results showed that in Wonosalam District there were various phosphorus dynamics. The highest phosphorus levels in rice field land use with a P-available value of 24.31 ppm in the very high category and a slope of 8-15% has the most optimal phosphorus availability. Phosphorus fixation for Al-P is highest in ricefields due to low C-organic content and for Fe-P is highest in moorland due to the pH on moorland is too acidic and the area has an alfisol soil type.
