Abstract
Wick system hydroponics is farming technology using water, nutrients and oxygen that is suitable for pak choi (Brassica rapa L.). Determining nutrient concentrations and providing aeration are important in influencing plant growth and yield. The research was carried out in October-November 2022 in Randegan Hamlet, Randegan Sari Village, Driyorejo District, Gresik Regency. The research was designed using a Split Plot Design (SPD) which consisted of 2 factors. The first factor is the difference in aeration time as the main plot which consists of 4 levels, namely: A0: No Aeration; A1: 6 hours/day; A2: 12 hours/day; and A3: 18 hours/day. The second factor is the nutrient concentration of AB Mix as a subplot which consists of 3 levels, namely: N1: 1.000 ppm; N2: 1.500 ppm; and N3: 2.000 ppm. If the analysis results show a significant difference, then proceed with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The research results stated that providing aeration for 18 hours/day and AB Mix nutrition with a concentration of 1500 ppm was able to provide the best results in plant length, number of leaves, dissolved oxygen content, plant root wet weight, plant root volume, root length, plant wet weight, leaf area, and chlorophyll content in pakcoy mustard plants in wick system hydroponic cultivation.
