Abstract
The production of long bean plants can be increased by applying fertilizer at the right dose. This research aims to determine the effect of growth and production of long bean plants on fertilizer application. This research was conducted in Modong Village, Tulangan, Sidoarjo in June-August 2023 using a Randomized Block Design categorized into 2 factors, namely the dose of cow bokashi fertilizer (5 tons/ha, 6 tons/ha, and 7 tons/ha) and the dose of NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 (50 kg/ha, 100 kg/ha and 150 kg/ha) which was repeated 4 times and 3 plant samples were taken so that in total there were 108 sample plants. Observed characters include the Vegetative Phase (plant length, stem diameter, and number of leaves) and the Generative Phase (age to flower emergence, number of flowers, number of pods per plant, pod length, pod weight per plant, pod weight per plot, pod weight per hectare, and fruit set (%). The data were analyzed for variance (Anova) using the 5% Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) test. The results showed that the bokashi fertilizer dose of 6 tons/ha, had an influence on the parameters of pod length, pod weight per plant and pod weight. per plot, while the NPK fertilizer dose of 100 kg/ha had an influence on the parameters of plant length, stem diameter, number of leaves, pod length, number of harvested pods, total number of pods, pod weight per plant and pod weight per plot.
