Abstract
This research focuses on the development of a web-based Computer Based Test (CBT) web-based application for Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Faqih Hasyim in Sidoarjo, East Java. This application aims to overcome the problem of conventional evaluation by replacing the use of paper and ballpoint pens, thereby reducing the risk of cheating, scoring errors, and difficulties in data management. Using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript, the application utilizes the Fisher-Yates Shakespeare algorithm. application utilizes the Fisher-Yates Shuffle algorithm to randomize the order of the questions, providing a degree of randomness to the exam content, as well as improving the overall efficiency of the evaluation process. efficiency of the overall evaluation process. This study emphasizes the importance of technology adoption in simplifying assessment and facilitating online data management by using the Fisher-Yates Shuffle Algorithm to reduce the risk of cheating. The app successfully implemented staged exams, ensuring students who meet the minimum criteria proceed to the next stage. Testing feasibility testing showed a feasibility percentage of 81.35%, reflecting the the app's success in achieving its development goals.
