Abstract
The issue of the increasing poverty rate in Central Java Province is still ranked second in Indonesia for many years. This will be an obstacle to the economy in Central Java Province and there are many other contributing factors such as the provincial minimum wage, economic growth the Open Unemployment Rate. This study was conducted to determine the effect of independent variables including the Open Unemployment Rate, Provincial Minimum Wage, and Economic Growth and the Poverty Rate in Central Java Province for the period 2008-2022 for 15 years. This research was conducted using data obtained through BPS (Central Java Province Statistics Agency). The analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression and testing with JB (Jarque-Bera) assumptions. conducted on the study to prove that this study passed the classical assumption test. after knowing the overall testing stage results that the Open Unemployment Rate has a positive and significant effect on the Poverty Level in Central Java Province. The provincial Minimum Wage has a negative and significant effect on the Poverty Level in Central Java Province. Economic Growth has a positive and insignificant effect on the Poverty Level in Central Java Province. Keywords: Open unemployment rate, provincial minimum wage, economic growth, poverty rate
