Abstract
In the present days, it is possible for people to only use smartphone without having to go outside when it comes to finding lovers. There are many choices of dating apps that spread on the internet specifically designed to ease the process of looking for partner, and one of which is Bumble. Interaction between users carried out through the Bumble application is a self-disclosure. The aim of this research is to determine self-disclosure and obstacles when users of the online dating application Bumble carry out the interaction process with other users. This research use descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews. The results of this research are that there are differences in the self-disclosure approach taken by each Bumble user seen from the perspective of the dimensions of self-disclosure, namely the dimensions of quantity, valence, honesty, intention and intimacy. Each informant has a different level of approach influenced by factors such as level of trust, communication goals and individual preferences.
