Abstract
Dyslexia is a disorder that appears in children and causes children to have impaired language skills due to dyslexia. On During this Covid-19 pandemic, dyslexic children must continue to receive therapy services in order to continue to improve their language skills and be able to overcome dyslexia difficulty. Online therapy is a solution applied by Peers Sidoarjo to maintain the health of accompanying teachers and dyslexic children by Avoid face-to-face therapy. This also affects the pattern communication carried out. This study aims to determine the pattern of communication between the accompanying teacher and dyslexic children during therapy during the Covid-19 pandemic. To examine this, the research method used used in this research is qualitative research with interaction theory teori symbolism proposed by George H. Mead. The theoretical foundation of communication patterns used are four models of communication patterns proposed by Devito. Data collection was carried out by means of in-depth interviews with teacher informants companions, dyslexic children, and parents of dyslexic children, observation through therapy conducted online, and literature study. The results of this study indicate that therapeutic online teacher assistants do with dyslexic children during the pandemic Covid-19 applies the unbalanced split pattern communication pattern in general and the monopoly pattern for dyslexic children with special conditions.
