Abstract
This design report discusses the phenomenon of increasing HIV cases among adolescents caused by the lack of public understanding of HIV&AIDS information. Digital media as an attractive and easily accessible media in this day and age is chosen as a means of making solutions to this phenomenon. The author makes digital comics as an educational medium for HIV&AIDS prevention, especially for adolescents aged 15-19 years. The main purpose of this design is to provide accurate, effective and easy-to-understand information about HIV&AIDS in order to reduce new cases in the teenage age group. This digital comic design method is supported by primary and secondary data to provide relevant and effective solutions to the phenomena that occur This design uses data analysis involving a qualitative approach in the form of interviews, observations, and webinars, as well as quantitative analysis through questionnaires and 5W + 1H analysis. The results of the data and analysis created a design idea in the form of digital comics that will be uploaded on the Webtoon platform with content consisting of 7 episodes and specific information about HIV & AIDS in each episode. Digital comics designed with interesting illustrations and fonts with certain graphic effects are expected to be a light reading medium for teenagers so as to encourage active participation in efforts to prevent HIV&AIDS transmission. This design is also expected to contribute in reducing negative stigma, preventing the spread of misinformation about HIV&AIDS, increasing the sense of concern for one's own health, and changing the behavior of adolescents caused by bad associations in today's world. Keywords : Education, HIV&AIDS, Comic, Teenagers.
