Abstract
The rapid development in the field of technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including educational institutions. Educational institutions are now increasingly utilizing information technology to enhance the quality of learning. One breakthrough in information technology is the use of games as an educational tool. The purpose of this final project is to create an educational game that highlights the history of the Three-Day Battle in Surabaya. The research begins with a needs assessment and proceeds with the process of designing a history-based educational game. The design phase includes creating a general design, detailed design, and technical design. After going through the design phase, the game is then implemented using the Unity Game Engine. The effectiveness of the resulting game is assessed through the use of a questionnaire formed with the GUESS-18 method and a 5-point Likert scale. The questionnaire is given to local Islamic junior high school students to measure the effectiveness of the game as a learning aid. The test results show an average percentage of 78%, categorized as "Good," proving that the game has successfully achieved the research goals.
