Abstract
Medowo Tourism Village, located at the tip of the eastern region of Kediri district, borders Jombang and Malang districts and is located around the slopes of Mount Anjamoro. Medowo itself has various tourist destinations, including Gandrung Hill, Dairy Cow Educational Tourism, Durian Village, Sumberjodo Waterfall and many more. Based on the results of observations, the visual branding of the Medowo tourist village still does not describe the characteristics of the tourist village and does not meet the criteria for a logo as a correct visual identity. Branding was chosen because Medowo Tourism Village still does not have a strong identity as the face of the village. This design uses 2 methodological stages, namely the preparation stage and the creation stage. The preparation stage includes data collection, data analysis, synthesis and determining the design object. In carrying out data collection, direct observation at the location was carried out and also interviews with several sources. Then the creation stage includes pre-production, production and post-production. The data analysis process used is descriptive data analysis which explains the important points from the data collected so that these points are used to find solutions to existing problems using the 5W+1H and TOWS Matrix methods, then produce the keyword "Kediri Nature Exploration". The logo that will be designed is in the form of a logogram, namely a logo with an image/object that represents the Medowo Tourism Village so that people can easily recognize the village and there is typography displaying the name of the village and a color tagline that will be used, taking the color from the concept in the keyword, namely green, color. Green is taken from the color of durian leaves which are one of the biggest commodities in the Medowo Tourism Village. By creating this branding, it is hoped that it will be able to make it easier for people to recognize the Medowo Tourism Village both visually and verbally.
