Abstract
The 17th AMMTC in Labuan Bajo reflects the collective efforts of several countries in addressing transnational crimes, which have been exacerbated by globalization. This challenge can lead to conflicts in the region, underscoring the urgency for each country to safeguard and secure its borders to prevent the rampant spread of transnational crimes. Therefore, the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting On Transnational Crime becomes a primary focus of the ASEAN Summit Presidency, aiming to tackle major issues such as cybercrime, arms smuggling, human trafficking, illicit wildlife and timber trade, and general transnational crimes. Indonesia, actively participating in these efforts, is evident through the Conference Diplomacy strategy of the Indonesian National Police (Polri), utilizing The Organizational Setting as an indicator that reflects organizational aspects, readiness, and effectiveness, seen in the pre-conference meetings. The role and success of the presidency in the AMMTC conference are reflected through The Role of Presiding Officers, demonstrating the effectiveness of Polri's leadership. Meanwhile, Groups and Conference Diplomacy depict the dynamics of country groups, measured by orientation and common goals, observed during the negotiation processes of country groups throughout the conference. Thus, this conference marks a significant milestone in supporting regional cooperation in responding to the threats of transnational crimes in the era of globalization. Keywords : AMMTC, Conference Diplomacy, Polri
