Abstract

Purple corn (Zea mays L.) is a food plant that has many benefits for the body and has a high selling value but has low productivity. One of the factors causing this low production quantity can be overcome by applying organic fertilizer to purple corn plants. This research was carried out on residents' agricultural land, Jl. Made Utara, Sambikerep District, Surabaya City, East Java from July to September 2023. This research used a 3 x 3 Randomized Group Factorial Design (RAKF) with three replications. The first factor is mycorrhizal biological organic fertilizer with doses of 5 g/plant, 10 g/plant, and 15 g/plant, while the second factor is vermicompost fertilizer with doses of 45 g/plant, 67 g/plant, and 90 g/plant. The results of the research that has been carried out show that there is an interaction between the parameters of plant height and weight of cobs and husks. Separately, mycorrhizal biological organic fertilizer and vermicompost fertilizer had a real influence on the parameters of flower emergence time, dry stover weight per plant, and dry shell weight per 1000 grains
