Abstract
The Hoax Clinic website is an application developed to provide services to the public regarding hoax information, facts, disinformation and hate speech. Hoax clinic is one of the services for the public to find out the status of information received. The public can check information whether it is hoax, disinformation, facts or hate speech. This application was developed based on a website that can be accessed via the internet network (online). Receiving correct information is the right of all people, especially in the midst of technological developments that allow a large amount of information to circulate. Online media and social media have become very fast means of communication in conveying information so that the information circulating is often inaccurate, even colliding with one another. Especially during big moments such as democratic/election parties and the covid pandemic situation, there is a lot of hoax information circulating and even deliberately spreading in society to lead to public perception of a problem. This troubling thing certainly requires proper handling. The public can also make requests for clarification of information to check its truth. With the Hoax Clinic website, it is hoped that the public can be helped by knowing the clarification of information circulating easily and accurately.
