Abstract

Pulp Factory From Empty Palm Oil Bunches With Process Acetocell Capacity 90,000 Tons/Year will be established in the Pelalawan area, Riau Regency, Sumatra Pelalawan Regency basically consists of land, and waters. The land is hills and plains, meanwhile Water bodies consist of rivers and seas. This factory will operate 24 hours a day a day, 330 days a year. The raw material used is empty bunches palm oil obtained from the oil palm farmers association (APKASINDO), The raw material for acetic acid was obtained from the PT factory. Indoacitama, raw materials, Hydrogen Peroxide obtained at PT. Samator Core Peroxide, and raw materials sodium dithionate obtained at the henan jinhe industry factory.Process The manufacture of pulp from empty palm oil bunches in brief begins with empty oil palm bunches with a content of 60% broken down using The gyratory crusher is then inserted into the vibrating screen tool, then accommodated in in the chip bin, then transported into the chip bin and then TKKS transported to the Pandia digester, where the digester is continuous. Raw material 85% acetic acid which is fed into the digester with a cooking time of 2 hours and temperature 170o c with a pressure of 8bar. After cooking is complete, the pulp The resulting product will flow into a rotary vacuum filter and then the pulp will flow towards the mixer, in the mixer there is a mixing process between hydrogen peroxide 3% and water to maintain a consistency of 10% then from the mixer towards the reactor, the temperature in the bleaching process is 90o c for 2 hours with a pressure of 5 bar and a pH range of 10.5 – 11. Then the pulp is pumped to washing process using a rotary vacuum filter to wash the pulp flowed to the mixer, in the mixer mixing occurs 1% sodium dithionite which comes from the dilution tank as well as the addition of process water for maintain a concentration of 15%, then flow from the mixer to sodium dithionite react at a temperature of 80oC for 2 hours with a pressure of 5 bar and a pH range of 7-8. Then the pulp is washed again using a rotary vacuum Next, the pulp slurry enters the dilution tank of the process bleaching produces a brightness of 82%. The pulp is pumped to head box. From the pulp head box to the wire part to form pulp sheets, after that it goes to the rotary drum dryer for drying until The pulp sheet has a water content of 5% then the pulp sheet goes to the roll printed.
