Abstract

Portlan Pozzolan Cement Factory Uses Dry Process with capacity of 500,000 tonnes/year is planned to be established in Kwanyar sub-district, Bangkalan district, East Java. Portland pozzolan cement is a type of cement containing pozzolan compounds. Added pozzolan compound to cement in order to reduce costs in making cast materials. The function of cement is known Portland pozzolan, among other things, is used for concrete construction for public and high-rise buildings, concrete construction that requires heat hydration and low temperature concrete, such as Raft Foundations and dams, and construction of coastal buildings, irrigation canals and places with Aggressive salt environments and resistant to salt and sulfate This Portland Pozzolan Cement Factory uses a continuous system throughout 24 hours a day with 330 working days and 155 employees. Making process Portland Pozzolan Cement in a nutshell starts by reducing the size of the stone lime and clay, then homogenized with a mixture of iron sand and silica. After that, initial heating is carried out in the preheater, then it enters the clinkerization stage in the kiln with a conversion of 98%. In the cooler the cooling process takes place suddenly with air from the blower so that the clinker from the kiln changes again solid phase, then added additives in the form of gypsum and fly ash, after that grind with a mil ball to a size of 325 mesh. Provisions for the establishment of a Portland pozzolan cement factory that has been planned can be concluded as follows: • Capacity: 500,000 Tons/Year • Company Form: Limited Liability Company (PT) • Organizational System: Line and Staff • Factory Location: Kwanyar District, Bangkalan Regency • Land area: 32,750 m2 Operating System: Continuous • Operation Time: 330 days/year; 24 hours/day • Number of Employees: 155 People Economic Analysis • Construction Period: 2 Years • Factory Age: 10 Years • Fixed Capital (FCI): Rp. 389,822,940,042 • Working Capital Investment (WCI): Rp. 74,133,871,499 • Total Capital Investment (TCI): Rp. 463,956,811,541 • Raw Materials (1 Year): Rp. 232.651.157.478 • Utility Costs (1 Year): Rp. 2,600,027,106 • Total Production Cost (TPC): Rp. 444.803.228.993 • Bank interest: 8% / year • ROI before tax: 27.31% • ROI after tax : 20.48% • Internal Return (IRR): 16.71% • Payback period (PBP): 4 years 8 months • Break Even Point (BEP): 30.09%
