Abstract
Detergent is an ingredient used as a cleaner. Detergent can cause problems, especially if liquid waste from detergent is included or in throw it into a turbulent stream so that foam forms smells. Phosphate compounds in detergents in waters can cause eutrophication, because it can cause aquatic plants to become fertile and algae grow becomes higher, which if it exceeds the limit can cause blooming. The rich phosphate and magnesium content in detergents can developed to make fertilizer from detergent waste in the form of struvite fertilizer. By Therefore, researchers tried to conduct research with the title "Formation Struvite from Liquid Detergent Waste Using Bubble Tanks”. Study This goal is to use waste to make fertilizer struvite required by plants. With hope, this research has Benefits can help farmers by using struvite fertilizer from waste detergent and can increase the economic value of detergent waste. The research method used in this process is using bubble tank with air as a stirrer. Magnesium molar ratio, phosphate and ammonium used are 1:1:1 with a pH of 9. For the variables carried out, the air rate (L/minute) is 0.5106; 0.7556; 1,003; 1.2526; 1.5553 and temperature (°C) of 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40. Precipitate results The struvite obtained is then filtered to separate the solids with the filtrate. Then the filtrate is discarded and the precipitate is dried and analyzed using SEM, XRF, and XRD analysis. The research results show that at a temperature of 25 °C with an air rate of 0.7665 L/min the results were 100% the formation of struvite crystals with a magnesium content of 9.2% and phosphorus 41.6% and clear and clean crystal structure. So it can be concluded that the results The struvite was compared to Excalibur Mineral Company's standards Struvite minerals and SNI 02-3776-2005 meet existing struvite standards.
