Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of finding out which sectors are potential sectors and how the base sectors influence GRDP in Lamongan Regency. The data used in this research is secondary data for 2018-2022 sourced from the Central Statistics Agency. To find out which sectors are potential sectors, the Location Quotient (LQ) method is used. The Shift Share method is used to find out how growth is occurring in the Lamongan Regency area. The Klassen Typology method is used to find out which sectors are advanced sectors in Lamongan Regency. Meanwhile, to calculate the effect on the base sector, a simple regression analysis method is used. In the (LQ) method, Lamongan Regency has 10 basic sectors. Based on PS calculations, there are 11 sectors driving growth in the same sector at the provincial level. Based on PR's calculations, there are 13 sectors driving growth in the same sector at the provincial level. Based on DS's calculations, there are 12 sectors driving the same growth at the provincial level. In the Klassen Typology method, there are 7 sectors that are classified as developed sectors. Meanwhile, in the simple linear regression method, there is an influence of the base sector on economic growth in Lamongan Regency.
