Abstract
The aim of this research is to analyze production costs, revenues, income, financial feasibility and production risks of Broiler chicken farming businesses with open and closed cages in Sindon Village. Sampling used the census sampling method with the number of respondents being 15. Collecting primary data by means of interviews and questionnaires. The results of the research show that livestock businesses with closed cages have total production costs, total revenues and income that are greater than livestock businesses with open cages, both livestock businesses are financially equally profitable and feasible to run because open cages have an average R value The /C Ratio is 1.02978/period while the closed cage system has an average R/C Ratio value of 1.03542/period. Production risk is caused by several sources such as disease attacks, poor DOC quality, overcrowded cage conditions, weather conditions and errors in carrying out the brooding period, but the production risk in open cages is lower than closed cages, because closed cages have an average CV value of IDR 2.54/kg/period.
