Abstract
This study aims to describe the competence of agricultural extension workers in Mojokerto Regency, describe the performance of agricultural extension workers in Mojokerto Regency, and analyze the effect of competence on the performance of agricultural extension workers in Mojokerto Regency. The type of research used is descriptive research and quantitative research. The data processing method in this study is the structural equation modeling (SEM) equation. This research uses a quantitative analysis approach that adopts Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that agricultural extension workers in Mojokerto district were generally highly competent consisting of 12 indicators in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture Number: 91/Permentan/OT.140/9/2013. Agricultural extension workers in Mojokerto district generally have high performance in accordance with the 2009 Ministry of Agriculture guidelines consisting of 9 indicators. Competence has a significant effect on the performance of agricultural extension workers in Mojokerto district.
