Abstract

A system is an organized arrangement consisting of several functional components with specialized functions and tasks that are interrelated and collectively aimed at fulfilling a specific presumed process, which can also assist an organization in executing its operational domain. The East Java Provincial Plantation Agency is a local autonomy implementing element that operates under and is accountable to the Governor through the Secretary of the Region in the field of plantations. Sometimes, written and physical data recording presents numerous issues, such as susceptibility to damage, loss, and vulnerability to unforeseen natural disasters. Additionally, the stored data may lack accuracy in terms of land measurements owned by the East Java Provincial Plantation Agency. Therefore, the idea emerged to design and construct an information system that can digitize the transparent plantation data system, accessible to the public and supportive of the agency's staff performance. This report discusses an Information System at the East Java Provincial Plantation Agency in the UPT PPBTP Section, designed to store data on plantations owned by the agency, aiming to facilitate digital plantation data collection that is transparent and accessible to everyone. In a large system, there is typically a complex structure, often divided into various components in its development. The proposed Dinas Plantation System (Si Bundi) is divided into two parts: Front-End (user interface) and Back-End (server-side visible to programmers). This report focuses on the Back-End development, which involves managing logic and databases. It covers project-related aspects during internship, including the design of the necessary Si Bundi application database and the creation of an API (Application Program Interface) for Si Bundi using the ExpressJS framework. Data collection and analysis have been provided by the agency, and the database is designed using phpMyAdmin through Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) Sequelize, with the ExpressJS framework handling the API. The tables utilized include plantation, land, photo plantation, and user tables.
