Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the optimal dosage for promoting the early growth of red ginger plant seedlings and to ascertain the effects of applying biochar and goat dung on growth. A factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) experimental approach with two components was used to conduct this study. First, there are four treatment stages for the biochar dosage: 12 g/polybag, 20 g/polybag, 28 g/polybag, and 36 g/polybag. The dosage of goat dung, which comes in four treatment phases (20 g/polybag, 40g/polybag, 60g/polybag, and 80g/polybag), is the second factor. The study's findings demonstrated that the combination treatment of 80 g goat manure/polybag and 36 g biochar/polybag had an impact and produced the best results for growth criteria like plant length, stem diameter, and leaf count.
