Abstract
Trichoderma sp. is a fungus that can be a biocontrol agent because it is antagonistic to other fungi and can accelerate the decomposition of organic matter. This study aims to determine the decomposition process of organic matter in various types of soil with the help of Trichoderma sp. as a decomposer. This study used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) method consisting of three factors. The first factor is the type of soil J1: Alfisol; J2: Inceptisol; and J3: Vertisol. The second factor is compost dosage K0: 0 ton/ha (0 gr/4.4 kg soil); K1: 10 ton/ha (15 gr/4.4 kg soil); K2: 20 tons/ha (30 gr/4.4 kg soil); and K3: 30 tons/ha (45 gr/4.4 kg soil). The third factor was the level of Trichoderma sp. T1: 15 ml of 106 spores/ml; T2: 15 ml of 108 spores/ml; and T3: 15 ml of 1010 spores/ml. The results obtained in the treatment of soil type, compost and Trichoderma sp. did not give a real interaction on the spore density of Trichoderma sp. in the treatment of soil type and compost dose gave a real influence on the spore density of Trichoderma sp. Inceptisol soil type gave the highest value in all observation intervals of Trichoderma spore density with compost doses of 20 tons/ha and 30 tons/ha at 14 Days After Incubation (HSI), 30 tons/ha at 28 Days after Incubation (HSI) to 42 Days after Incubation (HSI) and 20 tons/ha at 56 Days after Incubation (HSI)
