Abstract

BPJS Employment is a public legal entity responsible for providing protection for workers to overcome certain socio-economic risks resulting from employment relationships. In February 2018, an agency system, the National Social Security Drive or named Perisai, was launched. Through the Perisai agency system, BPJS Employment seeks to expand the scope of membership. However, there was a policy change in May 2022, so research was conducted to analyze the influence of incentive and motivation programs on the performance and loyalty of shield agents. The analysis in this research carried out questionnaires distributed to 40 BPJS Employment shield agents, Surabaya main branch and processed using the Partial Least Square method using Smart PLS. This research shows that the incentive program has a significant effect on performance or influences the performance of shield agents because the t-statistic value shows 4.118, while the motivation variable does not have a significant effect on performance or does not affect performance with a t-statistic value of 0.386, and performance has a significant effect on agent loyalty. shield or influence the loyalty of the shield agent's performance with a t-statistic value of 35,702. The results of research testing show a T-Statistics value > 1.69, indicating positive or significant or influencing variable research results. Then the R2 value for Performance = 0.724 and Performance Loyalty = 0.867. This is explained by the fact that the Shield Agent Performance variable is 72.4% while 27.6% is influenced by other variables, Loyalty is 86.7% while 13.3% is influenced by other variables.
