Abstract

This research aims to determine the leading sectors in Tulungagung Regency and to determine the influence of basic and non-based sectors on the economic growth of Tulungagung Regency. Including quantitative descriptive research and using secondary data. Analysis techniques using Location Quotient, Shift Share, Klassen Typology and Multiple Linear Regression. The data used is Gross Regional Domestic Product at Constant Prices in 2013 to 2021 Tulungagung Regency and East Java Province, Economic growth rate in 2013-2021 Tulungagung Regency. Based on the results of the Location Quotient analysis, there are 7 basic sectors in Tulungagung Regency, while the results of the Shift Share analysis show 8 sectors that encourage economic growth, 8 sectors that grow faster and 6 sectors that have locational advantages. According to the results of the Klassen Typology analysis, there are 8 advanced sectors in Tulungagung Regency. And the results of Multiple Linear Regression of the base and non-base sectors have a positive and significant influence on economic growth in Tulungagung Regency.
