Abstract
Soil damage is caused by the continuous use of chemical fertilizers, so organic soil amendments are needed by utilizing vermicompost and biochar as organic soil amendments. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of vermicompost and biochar from horse manure waste on the media and soybean plants in Gresik City. Research using non factorial RAK. The first factor was vermicompost 4 levels (dose 0, 10, 20, 30 tons/ha), the second factor was Biochar 4 levels (dose 0, 10, 20, 30 tons/ha). Parameters for analysis were plant height, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, pod weight, seed weight, N-total and in the media including pH, EC, C�Organic, and N-available. The results of the study showed no significant effect on each parameter. Keywords: Vermicompost, Biochar, Horse Manure, Soybean Plants
