Abstract
Jogjakarta traditional marriage is a series of traditional wedding ceremonies which are held in accordance with the customs of the jogjakarta ancestors or aristocrats which are currently still used to distinguish one marriage from another, therefore we must understand each of the ranges because they have different meanings so that we don't misunderstood in interpreting it. In addition, this cultural wedding ceremony can now be combined with the religious teachings of the organizer. The design of this information book provides information regarding the various traditions and cultures that have the characteristics and characteristics of each Traditional Marriage. In order to achieve a design that is right and on target, it is necessary to design a foundation that is used using the primary data collection method in the form of interviews with the Fendor of Photography and the target audience, besides that observations are made in every East Java community wedding. Meanwhile, secondary data is obtained from literature both from books and journals. The analysis used in this design is cultural analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the design of this traditional Jogja wedding information book has the concept of being an information book that conveys a variety of meanings and procedures and their sequences that are still being carried out in every traditional Jogjakarta wedding, especially in East Java that uses photography techniques. In this design, it is hoped that through this Jogjakarta traditional marriage information book it can provide insight and information to the public about the differences between Jogjakarta marriages and others, besides preserving culture.
