Because of many factors that can influence of performance and efficiency of sedimentation unit and then HP2S Model is one of mathemathical modelling that can be alternatively to observe settling flocs pattern. This research aim to analysis influence of velocity flow to settling floc pattern in sedimentation process with HP2S Model. Scoope of the research are laboratorium scale for rectangular sedimentation tank, variation of flow and coagulant matter, also width and height of sedimentation tank are constant. Identification of flow pattern with debit (liter/hour): 54, 36, 18 showed that debit variations have same flow paattern but flow velocity are different in each part along sedimentation tank. Ununiform flow and settling flocs increased at low debit, therefor is obtained limitation for minimum velocity. This velocity able to remove turbidity 87,5% for coagulat PAC at debit 36 liter/hour. Using HP2S Model to observe settling flocs pattern results that in settling zone from inlet to outlet, the pattern are horisontal velocity (u), NRe and NFr decreased, settling velocity (w) incereased, turbidity decreased. Besides that along the height of sedimentation tank has same pattern. Based on HP2S Model is obtained limitation for minimum velocity 0,25 cm/s - 0,52 cm/s to reach NFr >10 -5 and NRe <2000 until outlet with initial removal efficiency for turbidity 40%-80% by alum, 42,5%-85% by PAC and 37,5%-80% for mixed of alum-tawas.
