Abstract
In the current era, technology and information are two things that cannot be separated. This can be seen through obtaining information that can be obtained quickly, precisely, and accurately with the support of increasingly advanced technology. One example of the application of technological advances is an information system for academic activities in an educational institution, for example at the Ihyaul Ulum Islamic College. Previously there was no implementation of information systems in managing academic activities at the Ihyaul Ulum Islamic College because no IT personnel were available there. The process of academic activities such as taking Study Plan Cards and inputting student grades is still done manually. The existence of an Academic Information System at the Ihyaul Ulum Islamic College is expected to reduce interaction between students and academic administration staff to create more effective and efficient services. The user interface appearance of the academic information system also needs to be made simple and comfortable so that users can access the website comfortably, either via laptop or smartphone. The creation and development of the Academic Information System at the Ihyaul Ulum Islamic College was built using the PHP and MySQL programming languages to manage the database
