Abstract
An area often experiences problems, one of which is the problem of employment absorption. One of the areas experiencing employment problems is Magetan Regency, where the workforce absorbed by Magetan Regency during the year fluctuates. This requires efforts to increase labor absorption so that job opportunities also increase with the aim of encouraging economic development. This research was conducted to see the magnitude of the influence of the number of small industries, population and production value of small industries on the employment of small industries in Magetan Regency during the period 2007 - 2021. The results of this study explain that partially the number of small industries does not have a positive influence and does not significant, the population does not have a negative and significant effect, while the number of small industries has a positive and significant effect on the absorption of small industry workers in Magetan Regency.
