Abstract
Animal habitats in big cities, especially Java Island, can be said to be almost extinct and converted into built-up land in the form of government buildings, offices, shops, housing, etc. With the loss of these natural habitats, people can no longer see and study the diversity of animals. In addition, the illegal trade in animals is increasingly widespread, even those that are traded included in the category of protected animals, based on government regulations regarding conservation of living natural resources and their ecosystems, it is clearly written that, every people are prohibited from capturing, storing, possessing, maintaining and selling protected animal or animal body part alive or dead, and removing animals from one place in Indonesia to another place inside or outside Indonesia. The city of Kediri has a mini zoo which is managed by PT Gudang Garam, but the zoo is not open to the public. Since 2013 the city government of Kediri strives to continue to build and develop tourism, by adding or improving facilities existing ones by controlling and developing tourism potential existing ones, as well as creating new tourist attractions, such as natural and man-made, cultural heritage and amusement parks. In this case it is necessary a place for collecting, preserving and displaying animal species, namely: Kediri City Wildlife Park to support public education about animals. Tourists in general tend to want to know where and where animals come from, in this context the animal education area is a place to see, understand, know about animals that come from different places. This design still maintains sustainability and natural elements by applying iv Contextualism method which seeks to adapt to the environment artificial physical surroundings as well as the physical building must adapt to the environment by looking at the surrounding styles. With the Marga Park These animals can meet the needs of the community about education animals as well as a means of recreation and introduction of animals in the form of an educational area as a place to collect animals / animal replicas to show areas and animal enclosure.
