Abstract
Indonesia is one of the countries that has less stable food security, where the supply of foodstuffs in Indonesia, especially rice, is not constant. One of the alternative foodstuffs that has the potential to be developed is cassava (Zea mayz saccharata Sturt). One of the efforts to increase sweet corn crop yields is by using spacing and a dose of NPK fertilizer. This research was carried out from January 2019 to April 2019, this research was carried out in rice fields located in Sambiroto Village, Padas District. This research is a factorial experiment based on a randomized block design (RBD) with 2 factors. The first factor is the Planting Distance (J) which consists of 3 levels, namely: J1 = 60 cm x 15 cm (111,111 ton / ha), J2 = 60 cm x 20 cm (83,333 tan / Ha) and, J3 = 60 cm x 25 cm (66,666 ton / ha). The second factor is the NPK fertilizer dosage which consists of 4 levels, namely: P0 = 0 kg per hectare, P1 = 100 kg per hectare, P2 = 200 kg per hectare, P3 = 300 kg per hectare. Two parameters were observed, namely growth parameters: plant length, stem diameter, and number of leaves. Yield parameters: ear length, ear diameter, ear fresh weight per plant, ear fresh weight per m2, ear fresh weight per hectare and sugar content. CAROLINA ROSA BR SILLAGAN. 1425010014.
