Abstract

Disodium Phosphate Heptahydrate is a phosphate compound that is used as a raw material or auxiliary material in the chemical industry. The chemical industry that we often encounter using disodium phosphate raw materials is the detergent industry, textile industry, paper industry and so on. The method used in the manufacture of Disodium Phosphate Heptahydrate is using the crystallization method. The use of this method is because the method is relatively simple, does not use auxiliary materials, the yield and purity of the product obtained are quite high. The establishment of a disodium phosphate heptahydrate plant with raw materials of sodium carbonate and phosphoric acid with a crystallization process with a capacity of 60,000 tons / year was established in JIIPE Industrial Estate, Manyar sub-district, Gresik Regency, East Java Province. This plant will be established using a 24-hour continuous operating system with 330 working days with a total of 200 employees. 200 employees. The raw materials for the manufacture of disodium phosphate heptahydrate are 65% Phosphoric Acid obtained from PT Petrokimia Gresik and 99.7% Sodium Carbonate obtained from PT SREE Int Indonesia.
