Abstract

SIAMIK is an information service that provides data related to academic matters. Based on interviews conducted with 14 students from UPN "Veteran" East Java who are active users of SIAMIK, it was found that there are issues with the UI and UX aspects of SIAMIK. This is further supported by the usability analysis results of the current version of SIAMIK, which are below average. The objective of this research is to redesign the UI/UX of the SIAMIK website using the Lean UX method to achieve better usability. This research will discuss the redesign of SIAMIK's UI/UX using the Lean UX method, which will be carried out in two iterations. This method focuses on users and includes Lean and Agile development methodologies to reduce resource waste and create a user-centered product. The design evaluation phase will be conducted using three aspects of usability. The testing results show a 25.63% improvement in Effectiveness, a 27.25% improvement in Efficiency, and a 46.8% improvement in SUS (System Usability Scale). These improvements demonstrate that the hypotheses tested in the Lean UX method have been confirmed.
