Abstract
The polypropylene production process requires raw materials consisting of materials main raw materials and supporting raw materials. The main raw material is Propylene n(C3H6). Meanwhile, the supporting raw materials are Hydrogen (H2), Catalyst Ziegler-Natta, and additive in the form of the antioxidant Penthaerythritol Tetrakis (C73H108O12). The raw materials are compressed propylene gas, H2 gas and catalyst inserted into the bubble fluidized bed reactor for processing polymerization. The results that come out of the reactor are a mixture of propylene gas does not react and the polypropylene solid will be separated on cyclone and bag filter. Clean propylene gas will be recycled back to the reactor. Meanwhile, the polypropylene solids will be stored in a temporary hopper Next, the molding process will be carried out into pellets in an extruder pelletizer, which is added with the additive pentaerythritol tetrakis to improve the quality of the products produced.
