Abstract
Waste biogas from mud or can be called digestate, contains good bacteria that are rarely used again. Therefore this research is used as a starter for making biogas. In general, biogas is only made from cow dung. Cow dung is added to vegetable waste and water hyacinth and then given a starter in the form of digestate or sisan mud and EM4 (effective microorganism-4) which is then fermented for 30 days. This study aims to determine whether cow dung, vegetable waste, and water hyacinth can be used as biogas. Based on the composition, the best ratio is 8: 1: 1 with 8kg of cow manure, 1kg of vegetable waste, 1kg of water hyacinth (eichorrnia crassipes) and digestate starter added, because it is able to produce enough pressure to produce a blue flame with 65 seconds. Kata kunci: Sluge, water hyacinth, methane.
