Abstract
The goal of the study is to find out whether Inflation, Gross Regional Domestic Product, and Minimum Wage have an effect on Labor Absorption in East Java. This research method uses a quantitative research approach methodology in which there is one dependent variable, namely Labor and three independent variables, namely Inflation, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and Minimum Wage. This study uses annual data that is measured in a time series from 2006-2021. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and East Java Province. The data obtained in this study were then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of the data processing above, it can be seen that the independent variable Inflation has an insignificant effect on the employment absorption variable in East Java Province, besides that the independent variable Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) has a significant positive effect on the employment absorption variable in Java Province East, while the independent variable Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) has no significant effect on the labor absorption variable in East Java Province. Keywords: Employment, Inflation, Gross Regional Domestic Product, Provincial Minimum Wage
