Abstract
Anthracnose disease attack by fungus C. capsici cause a decrease in productivity in red chili pepper crop (Capcisum annum L). Anthracnose attack in red pepper crop occur due to a suitable environment for the transmission and development of anthracnose disease. The study was conducted to determine the influence of abiotic factors on disease intensity, infection rate and distribution patterns of anthracnose disease. The research was carried out from March to May 2022 on a farmer's red pepper plantation with an area of 400 m2 located in Sidowungu Village, Menganti Sub-District, Gresik District. Observation was conducted for 8 Weeks (4 weeks of leaves phase and 4 weeks of fruit phase). Abiotic factors that observed are air temperature, air humidity, wind speed and rainfall. Disease intensity, descriptive statistical analysis, moricity index analysis, infection rate and disease progression model were analyzed using excel 2013 program. Analysis of the relationship between abiotic factors with disease intensity and infection rate in correlation with non-parametric analysis "Spearman" rank using SPSS 26. Model of leaves phase anthracnose disease development is logistic model (polycyclic), then fruit phase becomes monomolecular model (monocyclic). Abiotic factors in the leaves phase that most affect thedisease severity is wind speed, but the abiotic factors that most affect the rate of infection is the temperature. Fruit phase abiotic factors that most influence the disease severity is rainfall, but abiotic factors that most influence the rate of infection is wind speed. Nonspatial distribution pattern descriptive statistics of leaves phase and fruit phase tend to be evenly distributed. Spatial distribution pattern moricity index of leaves phase tends to cluster, but the fruit phase tends to be uniform and clustered. Keyword : environmental; red chili; polycyclic; monocyclic; infection rate ; anthracnose
