Abstract
Perum BULOG as a company directly assigned by the government to manage food logistics, has not made Beras KITA excel in the market. This research was aimed to analyzed the characteristics of Beras KITA consumers, examined the influence of brand image, price, product quality, and packaging on the repurchase intention of Beras KITA, and evaluate the Beras KITA product. The sampling method used was purposive sampling with 95 respondents. The first objective was analyzed descriptively, the second objective was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM PLS), and the third objective was analyzed using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of the study showed that: 1) Beras KITA consumers were predominantly housewives with a high school education. Most of the consumers had an income of less than 1 million rupiah and purchased the product 1-2 times a month. Consumers consumed Beras KITA with their families, with an average of 3-4 dependents, and the majority of consumers were over 48 years old. 2) Brand image (X1), price (X2), product quality (X3), and packaging (X4) had a positive and significant influence on repurchase intention (Y). 3) Improving company performance in terms of hygiene attributes, taste, grain integrity, size, material, preferential interest, and transactional interest. The research results also provide insights for Perum BULOG Surabaya to enhance product quality and company performance. Keywords: brand image, price, product quality, packaging, repurchase intention.
