Abstract
This study aims to see and explain the expansion China's economy with the African region through the Order Forum On ChinaAfrica Cooperation (FOCAC). Economic issues became an important concern for countries in the world from 1990 to 2000. Many countries in the world makes various cooperation agreements in the economy, such as trade open to maintain and improve the country's economy. Post Deng Xiaoping's Cultural Revolution reform, in 1990 China experiencing significant changes in China's national economy through industrial modernization and participation in establishing economic cooperative relations and conduct international trade with other regions. In braiding cooperation with other regions, China uses an approach in terms of geoeconomics and geopolitics. China chose the African region on consideration various potentials and factors that are owned. Geoeconomic potential owned by the African region can support the fulfillment of internal energy needs China in terms of its natural resource potential such as oil, gas, and yields consideration. Then supported by geopolitical conditions in the African region have been for a long time with China. This makes it easier for China to enter countries in the African region in carrying out deep economic expansion country through direct investment for the public sector and the private sector as well sending aid for development countries in the African region. By Because of this, China established FOCAC as a sign of goodwill for China's relations with African region. FOCAC is a form of cooperation forum formed by China and African region which was held on October 10, 2000 in Beijing, China. During the meeting, China focused on economic cooperation and second development region since 2000 incidents with the first FOCAC meeting / meeting.
