Abstract
This study aims to determine the Jawa Pos and Kompas newspapers in framing the lawsuit of the 2019 presidential election results through the framing analysis approach of the Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki models. This research uses a qualitative method that is descriptive interpretative. Data obtained from news articles relating to the lawsuit of the June 2019 edition of the presidential election results. The Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki models consist of four structures, namely, Syntax, Script, Thematic, Rhetorical. The results of this study indicate the Jawa Pos tends to tell an event in a concise and clear manner, from various points of view and shows its neutrality. Whereas Kompas tells of an event with a long and clear cause and effect. So it is indirectly seen cornering Prabowo-Sandi's pair. His reporting proved to dislike accusations from the presidential candidates. Keywords: Framing, Prabowo-Sandi, KPU and related parties, Jawa Pos, Kompas.
