Abstract
The mentoring activity for the application of SNI to MSMEs is one of the MBKM internship programs orga-nized by the National Standardization Agency (BSN). This activity was carried out in two MSMEs, namely CV. Rubath Indonesia and UD. Devarie Rosan is located in Wonosalam Village, Wonosalam District, Jom-bang Regency, East Java. These two MSMEs are engaged in coffee production. Wonosalam coffee planta-tion products have high potential. Many varieties of coffee are produced including robusta, arabica, and ex-celsa coffee. Currently, coffee is one of the most popular drinks. This can be seen from the number of coffee shops and cafes with typical coffee menus in each region. Not only in Indonesia, coffee is also in great de-mand by foreign people. This mentoring activity aims to assist MSMEs in obtaining SNI certificates. The SNI that will be applied to these two MSMEs is SNI 01-3542-2004 Coffee Powder. This SNI assistance activity was carried out starting from the socialization of product quality standardization, gap analysis, preparation of improvement recommendations, preparation of MSME management systems, HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) training, internal audit assistance, marketing strategy development, and preparation of document requirements for registration of product SNI certification to certification bodies. It is hoped that after the SNI certification assistance is carried out, it can help MSMEs in obtaining SNI certification and improve product quality, product competitiveness, branding, and profit.
