Abstract
The development of the tourism industry is currently very dynamic in line with the progress of the people's economic welfare, so that the tourism sector has an important role in regional economic development. The purpose of this study was to see the influence of the tourism sector on economic growth in Central Lombok district. In this study using the multiple linear regression analysis method using secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in the period 2011-2021. While the results of the study concluded that: 1) the number of tourists has no effect on economic growth because most tourists in Central Lombok are local tourists, 2) the number of hotels, infrastructure, number of tourist objects has a significant effect on economic growth because along with the crowning of Central Lombok district as a destination new tours for local and foreign tourists.
