Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out to This study aims to determine the effect of the number of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) and Remittances on poverty levels in Ponorogo Regency. In this study, secondary data was used for the 2011-2021 period obtained from the results of the publication of the Ponorogo Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Agency (BP2MI). The analytical method used was multiple linear regression analysis using the help of E-views 12 software. The results showed that the number of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) had a positive and significant effect on the poverty rate in Ponorogo Regency. Meanwhile, remittances have a negative and significant effect on the level of poverty in Ponorogo Regency.
