Abstract

Absorption is one of the supporters of economic development carried out by developing countries and has the aim, among others, to create equitable economic development. Nganjuk Regency is one of the regions that cannot be separated from labor issues. Efforts to increase labor absorption are certainly inseparable from the factors that influence it, such as regional minimum wages, economic growth, and the size of the labor force. This study aims to determine the effect of regional minimum wages, the effect of economic growth, and the effect of the size of the labor force on labor absorption in Nganjuk Regency in 2010-2021. This study uses secondary data in the form of time series sourced from the website of the Nganjuk Regency Statistics Agency, the East Java Provincial Statistics Agency, and the East Java Disnakertrans with the analysis technique used, namely multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the regional minimum wage and economic growth partially had no effect on labor absorption, while the total labor force had an effect on labor absorption. Keywords: Labor Absorption, Regional Minimum Wage, Economic Growth, Number of Labor Force
