Abstract

Mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) or also called Caisim is a type of annual plant included in the Brassicaceae family which has economic value and is a food ingredient for low-class to upper-class consumers, so consumers demand the availability of quality mustard. However, mustard production in Indonesia decreased from 2021 to 2022 by 2.9%. Efforts that can be made to increase mustard crop production are the right cultivation techniques, one of which is fertilization. Bioboost Biofertilizer is an inoculant biofertilizer made from active living organisms that functions to tether nutrients or facilitate the availability of nutrients in the soil for plants, so as to increase the fresh weight of plants, fresh weight of roots, dry weight of plants, dry weight of roots and root volume in mustard plants. This needs to be supported by the right concentration of fertilizer. This research will be conducted from July to August 2023. This research was conducted in the experimental land in Jumputrejo Village, Sukodono, Sidoarjo which has an average minimum temperature of 23.0 °C and a maximum temperature of 34.05 °C, an average minimum humidity of 38.08% and a maximum humidity of 99.00%, and an average rainfall of 177 mm / year. This study was a single-factor experiment arranged in a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with 3 repetitions and each test consisted of 1 sample so that 24 mustard plants were obtained. Bioboost biofertilizer concentration factors consist of 8 levels, namely, (P0) : Without bioboost biofertilizer (control), (P1) : Bioboost biofertilizer concentration 40 ml / l, (P2) : Bioboost bioboost fertilizer concentration 50 ml / l , (P3) : Bioboost biofertilizer concentration 60 ml / l, (P4) : Bioboost biofertilizer concentration 70 ml / l, (P5) : Bioboost biofertilizer concentration 80 ml / l, (P6) : Bioboost bioboost concentration 90 ml/l, (P7) : Bioboost bioboost fertilizer concentration 100 ml/l. The observation parameters include: plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, total wet weight per plant, total dry weight per mustard plant. The results showed that overall there was no real interaction between the treatment of bioboost biofertilizer concentrations against all observed paramsseters. However, separately, the bioboost bioboost concentration treatment of 80 ml / l gave a real interaction on the parameter of mustard plant leaf area at the age of 21 HST, which was 14.70 cm². Keywords: Mustard, biofertilizer bioboost, concentration
