Abstract
This research is intended to examine and see the effect of the rupiah’s exchange rate, world oil prices, and the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite (SSEC) index on the Indonesian energy sector stock price index for the 2021-2022 period. Data is taken in monthly ranges for two years or 24 months, each of which consisted of monthly closing prices of the rupiah exchange rate, world oil prices, the SSEC index, and the energy sector stock price index taken during 2021-2022. Data processing uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques and EViews as a tool. The results of the study found that the rupiah exchange rate, world oil prices, and the SSEC index significantly affect the energy sector stock price index for the 2021-2022 period.
