Abstract
This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the ratio of capital structure and liquidity on the profitability of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2021 period. Profitability can be used to see the company's ability to generate profits and maintain its business, the higher the profitability value indicates the company has good performance. The sample in this study was selected using a purposive sampling method of 38 food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2021. This study uses secondary data obtained from the company's annual financial reports uploaded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analytical method used in this study is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study partially, the ratio of capital structure and liquidity is not able to contribute to profitability company keywords : capital structure, liquidity, profitability
