Abstract
Perencanaan pabrik Linear Low Density Poly Ethylene (LLDPE) ini diharapkan dapat berproduksi dengan kapasitas 65.000 ton LLDPE/tahun dalam bentuk pellet. Beroperasi secara continuous selama 330 hari dalam setahun. Linear Low Density Poly Ethylene dibutuhkan dalam jumlah besar hampir 95% bagi keperluan Industri Plastik. Secara singkat, uraian proses dari pabrik Linear Low Density Polyethylene yakni sebagai berikut : Pertama-tama penyiapan bahan baku etilen yang direaksikan di reaktor dengan bantuan katalis ziegler natta membentuk Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), kemudian dilakukan pemisahan dan pengambilan produk dengan cara melewatkan pada cyclone. Setelah itu, LLDPE dibentuk menjadi pellet dengan Extruder serta pelletizer, kemudian dikeringkan pada rotary dryer dan siap dipasarkan dalam bentuk pellet.
