Abstract
This research was conducted to describe the mechanism of the partnership pattern of People's Credit Sugarcane (TRK) and Independent People's Cane (TRM) in the City of Kediri and Comparatively Analyze the income and efficiency of Smallholder Credit Sugarcane (TRK) and Independent People's Sugar Cane (TRM) farming in Kediri City. The use of the method in determining farmer respondents used the Purposive Sampling method with the consideration of respondents namely farmers with a partnership pattern of Cane People Credit and Sugar Cane People Independent (TRM) as many as 30 samples obtained from 3 sub-districts. Methods of data analysis using comparative analysis using the t test and efficiency between TRK, TRM using the R/C ratio. The results of this study show that in the City of Kediri, the partnership model between sugarcane farmers and sugar mills in the TRK, sugarcane farmers get loans for working costs and cultivation guidance from sugar factories, with clear obligations and rights for both. In contrast, in TRM, farmers cultivate sugarcane independently without financial assistance from sugar mills, with profit sharing determined based on an agreement. Based on a comparative analysis, there is a difference in costs between TRK and TRM sugar cane farming, where TRK costs are greater than TRM costs which are influenced by the total land area, total sugarcane productivity and sugarcane yield value. There is a difference in the amount of income between TRK and TRM sugar cane farmers, where TRK's income is greater than TRM's costs. There are differences in the efficiency of partnership sugarcane farming between TRK and TRM farmers, where TRK is more efficient than TRM. Keywords: Comparative, Efficiency, and Farming
